Early in my teaching career I learned that there is not just one way to learn a language. How a person learns is as diverse and individual as humans themselves.

By creating custom-made courses, I can emphasize the most important issues for each individual. My clients have a strong hand in deciding how the course will run using current, relevant and interesting course material (TED Talks, ESL Brains, podcasts, articles, books, current news events). Constant reassessment and a good dose of humor keep the lessons lively and interesting. Building confidence, creating a comfortable learning atmosphere and finding the right course materials for every individual are my strengths.

Learning German for me was a big challenge and I did not learn it in the orthodox manner with school books and grammar lessons. I learned to communicate because of a big need and desire to do so. I search for these qualities in my clients and develop creative ways that work best for them to reach their goals.
