About me

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California but have lived in Salzburg since 1994. After graduating from Utah State University and competing in the 1st division volleyball league in the USA, I traveled to Europe as a volleyball professional but decided to stay longer and enjoy the benefits of living and working in a European country.

Formerly I lectured at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, Puch Urstein and currently give private English courses in my comfortable home studio in Salzburg, Gnigl. After nearly 30 years of teaching experience in numerous companies and institutions in the Salzburg region, I still enjoy meeting new clients and the challenge of creating motivating, custom-made courses.

Exploring new ideas like Walk & Talk for individuals who like to move while they learn or adding material suited to your personal preferences is my strength. Anything to spark your interest and make learning English enjoyable and effective.

I speak fluent German and have a good ear for the typical mistakes between English and German speakers. I love the outdoors and if given the chance, will drop everything and climb a mountain!
